Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) teaches us each organ in our body is connected to a specific emotion. It’s believed emotional imbalances can be both the symptom and cause of disease.
In order to heal, the body, mind, and spirit must all be treated as one. Emotions that are “trapped” inside the body can contribute to dis-ease, and need to be released. This can be just as important, and in some cases more important, than nutrition and lifestyle. Untangling and releasing yourself from emotions can be one of the most difficult parts of your healing journey.
